DATE AND TIME OCCURRED:

05/18/2017 at approximately 7:22pm

LOCATION OF OCCURRENCE:
633 S. Johnson Ave., El Cajon

SUSPECT:
Joseph Bollacker (25)

RESUME OF INCIDENT:
On 05/18/17 at approximately 7:22 PM the El Cajon Police Department received numerous calls of a shooting at 633 S Johnson Ave. in El Cajon. When officers arrived they were directed to an apartment occupied by the shooter. Officers made contact with the suspect, identified as Joseph Bollacker (25) of El Cajon, and took him into custody outside of his apartment.

The victim was located and said the suspect is his girlfriend’s brother. The victim was at the apartment shared by his girlfriend and her brother when he was attacked by Bollacker.  The victim fled the apartment and was chased into the parking lot by the suspect.  Bollacker fired a total of three gunshots at the victim. The victim was uninjured, but two parked vehicles were hit by gunfire. There are no outstanding suspects and the investigation is continuing.  The suspect will be booked into County Jail on the charge of 664/187 PC, Attempted Homicide.
