The Human Resources Division is responsible for recruiting and retaining the best qualified employees for all of the City’s more than 550 full-time and part-time positions.

The staff administers the employees' benefit programs, as well as labor/employee relations issues. Moreover, the division assists in coordinating training for employees and serves as the staff liaison to the El Cajon Personnel Commission.
